Give your hearts, but not into each other’s keeping.
For only the hand of life can contain your hearts.
And stand together yet not too near together:
For the pillars of the temple stand apart,
And the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other’s shadow.

Hi beauties!

So far, Annapurna Living has been a conversation between women. My intention to uplift and inspire the fierce feminine soul. While sitting at the kitchen table one morning I thought, “I want to hear from the men.”

I want to know and see some of the men who support some of the women we feature here on Annapurna Living and others in this world.

My husband is my best friend. He supports and challenges me to be the best I can be. A lot of what I share here comes from something Steven has inspired within me. He is a great teacher and I am so grateful to know him so intimately. His love gives me so very much and the family that we have created together has been the most sacred journey of my life. I have watched him grow and transform and I have done the same. He makes me laugh, he makes me tea and he reminds me to let go of that which I have no control of.

Who knew that all those years ago, in acting class, that the gorgeous young man sitting next to me would be my life partner and the father of my children.

This month, to honor the fathers and men we have among us, we will bring the male narrative to Annapurna Living. I can’t wait to share them with you. When asked what they should write, the only answer I could find was ANYTHING. Write anything you feel in your heart.

With gratitude,
