Full Pink Moon—Fertility

Making sure your actions align with your dreams is a sure-fire way to guarantee success for yourself in relationship and in work. Action is, in fact, one of the secret ingredients to conception—be it in regards to babies or ideas. We call things into our fields through dreaming and envisioning, but they way that they actually magnetize to us is through physical action.

The Moons of Spring Series

We have crossed the threshold into spring and fertility, and with this full moon comes a celebration of these things, which are one and the same. Having journeyed through the new moon and equinox, we pushed through the final days of darkness and are now stripped down to our bare essence, standing in the light. This is a position of vulnerability and of rejoicing. This month, we celebrate both. Again, the full moon brings opportunity for fullness, fertility, creation, realization. This moon in particular comes bearing seeds rather than fruit. This is the time to conceptualize, to conceive anything that you wish to see realized this year. Imagine filling your basket with flowers—what will it look like? What will you gather first from the fields?

During the full moon on April 4, the key themes to recognize are fertility and abundance. Whatever you’re wishing for, there is enough of it, and it’s finding its way to you. Remember that every action you take is part of your path, so be intentional with your movements and actions. With this in mind, use this full moon to nourish yourself and your space deeply—clean your kitchen sink, prepare a colorful soup filled with food that makes you happy, treat yourself to something you’ve been wanting but have been holding out for. By indulging in health and happiness during this conception cycle, all that is born from it will fall in line with grace.

Ritual

Baking is one of the most alive metaphors on earth. It is a humble, ancient ritual and it is the oldest form of alchemy. Not everyone likes to bake, but surely we have all been affected by someone who does.

On this full moon, the fertile energies at hand are looking for modes of materialization. This is to say, they are so thick and they are looking for ways to manifest physically in your life. If you like to bake, today is the day. Choose something that speaks to your heart, and get the ingredients in order. Get the kids on board if you feel like it, but keeping the ritual to yourself is perfectly acceptable. Whatever makes it feel best to you.

As you mix ingredients and prepare the oven, take a moment to admire this magic art that binds all people across time and space. By baking something, you are actively participating in conception and production. You are the vessel for the energy to come through. If you are feeling exceptionally lavish, eat the baked good for dinner, followed up by a few vegetables for good measure. Truly letting yourself experience this pleasure will unlock the gates for the full moon energy to flourish. If you absolutely cannot bake, consider choosing a ready-to-bake item from your local grocery store. Make sure you hold it fully in your hands before you place it on the baking sheet so that the merging of energies is free to transpire.
